At the store’s construction site, multiple versions of Essaw “Essi” Tesfomtekle prepare for the opening in playful, surreal ways: stacking HOKA’s signature blue shoeboxes, brushing posters with a blue-lime brush, installing a large glass panel, and running through the city.

In the climax, all versions look up to the final Essi, harnessed to the store window. He locks eyes with the camera and delivers the line: “Let’s Fly Berlin.”
